Univo Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how BELIRA COMPANY LIMITED, the operator of Univo ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use Univo, including its account, profile, one-to-one audio and video, messaging, media-sharing, advertising, purchase, safety, and support features (collectively, the "Service"). It also describes your privacy choices and rights.

By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy. Where applicable law requires consent, we request it separately. If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the Service. Univo is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old.

Scope and Data Controller

BELIRA COMPANY LIMITED is the operator of Univo and the controller of personal information where applicable law uses that term. This Policy applies to the Univo Android app, related websites and webviews that link to it, and communications with our support, privacy, or safety teams. Independent third-party services are governed by their own notices.

Information We Collect

Account and profile information

We collect information you provide to register, verify, maintain, or personalize an account. Depending on the registration method and features you use, this may include an email address or phone number, authentication information, age or date-of-birth confirmation, nickname, profile photo, biography, language, country or region, preferences, and account settings.

User content and communications

We process content you create, upload, send, receive, or share through Univo, such as profile content, photos, videos, audio files, voice messages, text messages, and reports. Content you send to another user is disclosed to that user as part of the feature you choose.

When you participate in a one-to-one audio or video call, we process live audio and video streams to connect the participants. We may also process call metadata such as participant identifiers, connection information, start and end times, duration, network quality, and technical diagnostics. Unless we provide a separate notice and obtain any consent required by law, we do not record or retain the content of private live calls. The other participant may use device features or external tools to capture content without our knowledge, so do not share anything you would not want another person to retain or disclose.

Camera, microphone, and media permissions

With your permission, Univo accesses:

Android requests relevant runtime permissions in context. You may deny or revoke permission in Android settings, but the related feature will not work. On supported Android versions, we may use the system photo picker to limit access to media you select. Older Android versions may present legacy storage permissions solely when needed to access or save user-selected media. We do not use camera or microphone data for advertising, and we do not access the camera or microphone in the background when a call or user-initiated capture feature is not active.

Device capabilities and operational permissions

Univo uses internet, network-state, and Wi-Fi-state access to exchange data, determine connectivity, and optimize call and media performance. It may use vibration for notifications, audio-setting controls to route and optimize call audio, and a wake lock to keep an active call or user-requested operation from being interrupted. These operational permissions do not by themselves mean that personal information is transmitted, although related usage and diagnostic information may be processed as described below.

Device, network, advertising, and usage information

We and our service providers may automatically collect IP address, Android Advertising ID where available and permitted, app-instance or device identifiers, device model, Android and app version, language, time zone, carrier or network type, connection quality, crash and diagnostic data, security events, access times, feature interactions, advertising interactions, and approximate location inferred from IP address. Related websites and webviews may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies.

Purchase information

Univo offers non-subscription in-app purchases through Google Play. Google Play processes payment information. We do not receive your full card number or billing credentials. We may receive product, transaction, order, entitlement, payment-confirmation, refund, and limited billing-status information to deliver purchases, prevent fraud, provide support, and maintain records.

Safety, moderation, and support information

We collect reports, blocks, appeals, support communications, attachments, and evidence users choose to submit. To investigate suspected fraud, scams, harassment, abuse, child sexual abuse and exploitation, or other violations, we may review the reported account, profile, content, relevant message excerpts, call metadata, device or network signals, and other context reasonably necessary to protect users and enforce our policies.

Sensitive information

Information you voluntarily reveal in a profile, message, call, or uploaded content may be sensitive under some laws, including information about sexual orientation, health, ethnicity, religion, or precise identity. Do not provide sensitive information that is not necessary to use the Service. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics for personalized advertising.

Sources of Information

We receive information directly from you; automatically from your device and use of the Service; from other users who communicate with you or report content; from Google Play; from advertising, analytics, communications, security, and other service providers; and from lawful fraud-prevention, safety, or legal sources.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

Legal Bases for Processing

Where a legal basis is required, we process information as necessary to perform our contract with you, including providing requested features and purchases; with your consent, including for optional device permissions and certain advertising; to comply with legal obligations; and for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and protecting the Service, balanced against your rights. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Advertising and Your Choices

Univo may display contextual or personalized advertising. Where permitted, we and advertising partners may use the Android Advertising ID, app activity, approximate location, advertising interactions, and limited device information to select, deliver, limit, and measure ads and to detect ad fraud. Advertising partners may process information under their own privacy notices.

You can reset or delete the Android Advertising ID and manage advertising preferences in Android settings. Where available, you can also use Univo's privacy settings to limit personalized advertising. You may continue to see contextual or non-personalized ads after opting out. We do not knowingly personalize advertising for anyone under 18 because people under 18 are not permitted to use Univo.

We do not sell personal information for money. Under certain U.S. state laws, disclosure of identifiers and activity to advertising partners for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising. Where those laws apply, you may opt out through available in-app privacy controls or by contacting us at uahpiryiulamd@hotmail.com. We honor legally required browser or device-based opt-out signals where they apply to our processing.

How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information to:

Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Retention depends on the type of information, account status, the feature involved, user choices, contractual requirements, safety and fraud risks, legal limitation periods, and applicable law. Account and profile information is generally retained while the account is active. Uploaded content and messages are retained as needed to provide the feature and according to user deletion choices. Live call content is not retained by us unless a separately disclosed recording feature is used or preservation is required for a report or by law.

After an account-deletion request, we delete or de-identify associated information within a reasonable period and instruct relevant processors to do the same, except where retention is necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, protection of users, or enforcement. Backup copies are isolated from ordinary use and removed on the applicable backup cycle. De-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained.

International Data Transfers

Because Univo is a global service, information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, and supplementary measures, and we require processors to protect information consistently with this Policy and applicable law.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, secure storage practices, monitoring, vendor controls, security assessments, and incident-response procedures. No transmission or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials, securing your device, and using care when communicating with other users.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know about and access personal information; correct inaccurate information; delete information; obtain a portable copy; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent; opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; limit certain uses of sensitive information; and appeal a denied request. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

We may verify your identity and authority before acting on a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where local law permits. Rights may be limited by lawful exceptions, including security, protection of other users, freedom of expression, and legal retention duties.

Account and Data Deletion

You may initiate deletion from the account settings in Univo. You may also use our Account Deletion Request page to request deletion outside the app, including by emailing uahpiryiulamd@hotmail.com with the subject "Univo Account Deletion." We may verify account ownership before completing the request. Deactivation or suspension is not a substitute for deletion. We delete associated account data unless retention is required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, protection of users, or enforcement, in which case we will retain only what is necessary for the applicable period.

Regional Disclosures

European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

The controller, processing purposes, information categories, recipients, retention criteria, legal bases, transfer safeguards, and rights relevant to users in these regions are described above. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where required, details of our applicable representative or data protection officer are available through the contact method below.

United States

For residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, the categories of personal information processed may include identifiers; account and profile information; commercial information; internet, device, advertising, and usage information; audio, visual, and communications content; approximate location; inferences used for personalization, safety, or feature operation; and information that may be considered sensitive when voluntarily provided. We use and disclose these categories for the purposes and to the recipients described above. We do not sell information for money, but certain advertising disclosures may be considered sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law. Eligible residents may exercise applicable access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out, limitation, and appeal rights.

Third-Party Services and Links

Univo may link to or interoperate with third-party services. Their independent processing is governed by their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for independent third-party practices, but processors acting on our behalf are subject to contractual and legal safeguards.

Children's Privacy

Univo is not directed to children and does not permit anyone under 18 to create or use an account, appear in content, or access the Service through another person's account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child. If we learn that a person under 18 has used Univo, we will restrict the account and delete the child's information, subject to legal preservation and safety obligations. Our Child Safety Standards describe how we prevent and respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Service, law, technology, or our practices. We will post the updated Policy and revise the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. Continued use after the effective date means the updated Policy applies, except where law requires another form of acceptance.
