These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and BELIRA COMPANY LIMITED, the operator of Univo ("we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of Univo, including its account, profile, one-to-one audio and video, messaging, media-sharing, advertising, purchase, safety, and support features (collectively, the "Service").
Acceptance of These Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, creating an account for, purchasing through, or using Univo, you agree to these Terms, the Univo Privacy Policy, the Univo Child Safety Standards, and any feature-specific rules presented to you. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and "you" includes that organization.
Eligibility and Adult-Only Service
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use Univo. The Service is not directed to children. You may not use it if you are prohibited by law, are required to register as a sex offender, have been convicted of conduct that makes your use unsafe for others, or were previously removed for a serious or repeated violation unless we give written permission.
You must provide truthful age and eligibility information. We may request reasonable age or identity verification and may restrict features, suspend access, or terminate an account when we reasonably believe the eligibility requirements are not met.
Your Account
You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account, except to the extent caused by our breach of these Terms or applicable law. Promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You may not sell, rent, transfer, share, or create deceptive accounts, or use automated means to create accounts.
Limited License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to install and use Univo on compatible Android devices for lawful, non-commercial purposes. The Service is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors retain all rights not expressly granted.
One-to-One Communications and User Safety
Univo allows users to communicate through live audio, live video, text, photos, videos, voice messages, and other content. You choose whether to start, accept, continue, or end an interaction. You may revoke camera or microphone permission through Android settings, although the related feature will stop working.
You must respect the other participant's boundaries and obtain any consent required by law before capturing, recording, publishing, or sharing a communication. Do not assume that a conversation is confidential. Another participant may retain or disclose communications using tools outside our control.
We do not endorse users, verify every identity or statement, conduct universal background checks, or guarantee compatibility, conduct, intent, availability, or safety. Use judgment, protect personal and financial information, and end, block, or report an interaction that appears unsafe. Contact local emergency services if anyone faces immediate danger; Univo is not an emergency service.
User Content
"User Content" means profile information, text, images, audio, video, messages, reports, feedback, and other material you submit or transmit. You retain ownership of your User Content. You represent that you have all rights and permissions necessary to provide it and that it complies with these Terms and applicable law.
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, transmit, display, and otherwise process User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service, enforce these Terms, and comply with law. For content you designate as public, the license also permits us to display and distribute it through the Service according to your settings. This license ends when content is deleted from our systems, except for reasonable technical, legal, safety, and backup periods and copies another user lawfully retained.
You grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use suggestions and feedback without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you as the source without permission.
Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
You may use Univo only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not do, attempt, encourage, assist, or facilitate any of the following:
- create, upload, request, possess, distribute, promote, or facilitate child sexual abuse material or any child sexual abuse or exploitation, including grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or sexualization of a minor;
- allow a person under 18 to access your account, appear in content, or use Univo, or misrepresent age or identity;
- threaten, stalk, harass, bully, exploit, coerce, blackmail, dox, intimidate, or endanger anyone;
- share non-consensual intimate imagery, pornography, sexually explicit content, sexual services, prostitution-related content, or content that violates another person's sexual or privacy rights;
- promote hatred, discrimination, dehumanization, or violence based on a protected characteristic;
- impersonate another person or entity, use deceptive synthetic media, commit fraud, solicit money under false pretenses, or conduct phishing or romance scams;
- promote terrorism, human trafficking, illegal drugs, weapons trafficking, self-harm, or other illegal or seriously dangerous activity;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, contractual, or other rights;
- send spam, unauthorized advertising, malware, or malicious links, or scrape, harvest, disclose, or sell user data without authorization;
- access another account or restricted system without authorization, probe security, interfere with operation, overload the Service, evade enforcement, or submit false reports;
- reverse engineer, decompile, modify, create derivative works from, or circumvent technical protections of the Service except where law expressly permits; or
- use bots, scripts, or automated systems to access or interact with Univo without our written permission.
Reporting, Blocking, and Moderation
You can block a user and submit a report through controls available from profiles, chats, and active or recent calls. Reports must be truthful and submitted in good faith. Do not download, reproduce, or email suspected child sexual abuse material; use the in-app report control and contact competent authorities when appropriate.
We may use automated systems and human review to detect, investigate, restrict, remove, preserve, or report content and conduct. Depending on the facts and law, we may warn users, limit features, reduce visibility, remove content, stop interactions, suspend or terminate accounts, prevent re-registration, preserve evidence, or notify law enforcement and child protection authorities. Moderation is not a promise that we will identify every violation, and our failure to act in one instance does not waive our right to act later.
Child Safety
We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. The Univo Child Safety Standards are incorporated into these Terms. When we obtain actual knowledge of apparent child sexual abuse material or related exploitation, we take appropriate action, including removing or disabling access to content, preserving information as legally permitted, terminating involved accounts, and reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children or an appropriate regional authority when required or appropriate.
In-App Purchases and Digital Items
Univo offers non-subscription in-app purchases, which may include digital items, credits, or paid features. The price, quantity, and material terms are shown before purchase. Payments, refunds, and billing are processed by Google Play and are also subject to Google Play's terms and policies. These purchases do not automatically renew. If we introduce a subscription in the future, its price, billing period, renewal, and cancellation terms will be presented separately before purchase.
Digital items are limited licenses to use features within Univo. They are not money, property, deposits, or cash equivalents; have no value outside the Service; and may not be transferred, traded, sold, or redeemed for cash except where law requires. We may modify or discontinue digital items for legitimate operational, security, legal, or business reasons. Refunds are available only as required by law or applicable Google Play policy. You are responsible for taxes and authorized charges associated with your account.
Advertising
Univo may display contextual or personalized advertising. Advertising content and related offers are provided by third parties and may be governed by their own terms. Our Privacy Policy explains the information used for advertising and how to manage applicable choices. You may not manipulate ad delivery, impressions, clicks, rewards, or measurement.
Our Content and Intellectual Property
Univo, including its software, design, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and other content we provide, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission except as these Terms or law expressly allow. You may not use our names, marks, or branding without prior written permission.
If you believe content infringes your rights, send a sufficiently detailed notice through the contact method below. We may remove content and terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.
Privacy and Device Permissions
The Univo Privacy Policy explains how we process information and use Android permissions, including camera, microphone, media access, advertising identifiers, network access, vibration, audio controls, and wake locks. You control Android runtime permissions and may revoke them, although related features will stop working. You may not use Univo to collect another person's information unlawfully.
Third-Party Services and Google Play
Univo may rely on or link to independent third-party services. Their terms and privacy notices govern their services. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for Univo, support, claims, or maintenance, except as required by its own terms or applicable law. Your use of the Android app must comply with the Google Play Terms of Service and other applicable Google policies.
Service Changes and Availability
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features for operational, security, legal, or business reasons. The Service may be interrupted or unavailable and may require updates. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device or network, or preservation of every item of User Content. Where law requires, we will give reasonable notice of a material adverse change.
Suspension, Termination, and Account Deletion
You may stop using Univo at any time and request account deletion through in-app settings or our Account Deletion Request page. Additional information is available in our Privacy Policy. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, failed eligibility requirements, engaged in fraud or abuse, or when law requires action. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we may provide notice and an opportunity to appeal.
Upon termination, your license ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, dispute provisions, and lawful licenses needed for retained content.
Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNIVO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, AND SECURITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT USERS WILL BE TRUTHFUL, COMPATIBLE, SAFE, OR LAWFUL.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so some of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR OF UNIVO AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITY; OR HARM ARISING FROM USER CONDUCT, UNAUTHORIZED CAPTURE OR DISCLOSURE OF COMMUNICATIONS, ADVERTISING, THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, OR RELIANCE ON CONTENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO UNIVO WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US THROUGH THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY OR USD 100. These limits apply to all theories of liability and do not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless BELIRA COMPANY LIMITED and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable expenses, including legal fees, arising from your unlawful use of Univo, your User Content, or your material breach of these Terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own unlawful conduct and does not reduce non-waivable consumer rights.
Governing Law and Disputes
Before filing a claim, you and we agree to make a reasonable, good-faith effort to resolve it informally. Send a written description of the issue and requested resolution through the contact method below. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Univo and to your use of the Service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules to the extent permitted. A dispute may be brought before any court that has competent jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections or court access available in your country of residence.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in Univo, law, safety practices, or business operations. We will post the updated Terms and revise the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice and, where required, request acceptance. Changes apply prospectively from their effective date. If you do not agree to an update, stop using Univo and delete your account.
General Provisions
These Terms and incorporated policies are the entire agreement about Univo. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, merger, sale, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law. Headings are for convenience only. The English version controls to the extent permitted by law; a local-language version may control where required.
